Terms of Use

RigLab tools are provided free of charge and as is. By using the site you agree to these simple terms.

Using the tools

Results depend on your browser, operating system and hardware, and are intended for diagnostics, comparison and practice rather than certified measurement. Do not rely on them for safety-critical or professional calibration decisions.

Health and safety

Photosensitivity

Some display tools can show rapidly changing colours. Do not use flashing modes if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light.

Hearing

Speaker and headphone tests generate tones. Start at a low volume and raise it gradually. Never test at a level that feels uncomfortable.

Benchmarks

CPU, GPU and RAM tests put your device under heavy load for a short time. This is normal, but your device may become warm and fans may spin up.

Content

The text, design and code of this site belong to their owners. You may link to any page freely.

Liability

The tools are provided without warranty. We are not responsible for decisions made based on test results, or for any issue arising from using the site.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use RigLab for commercial purposes?

You can use the tools to test devices at work or in a shop. Copying the site or its code requires permission.

Are the results guaranteed to be accurate?

No test can be guaranteed. Browser tools are reliable for diagnostics and comparisons, and each page explains its limits.

Can a benchmark damage my computer?

No. It only runs normal calculations at full speed for a short time, like a demanding game would.

Are flashing tests safe?

For most people, yes. Avoid them if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light.

Can I embed a tool on my own site?

Please link to the tool page instead of embedding it. Contact us if you need something more.

Do these terms change?

They may be updated occasionally. The current version is always on this page.

What law applies?

The law of the country where the site owner operates, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.

Who do I contact with questions about these terms?

Use the contact page and we will get back to you.
