About RigLab
RigLab is a collection of free, browser-based tools for checking PC hardware and sharpening gaming skills. Every test runs locally on your device, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
What we build
We focus on the tools people actually reach for: confirming a new mouse runs at the right polling rate, proving a keyboard switch is chattering before the warranty runs out, checking a monitor for dead pixels on delivery day, benchmarking a laptop after a fresh install, or making sure a microphone works five minutes before an interview.
Hardware tests
Mouse, keyboard, controller, display, audio and camera tests read the raw signals your devices send to the browser and show them clearly, so you can see a fault instead of guessing at it.
Skill tests
Reaction time, aim, click speed, typing, pattern recognition and spatial awareness drills record real timings, keep your personal bests in your browser, and explain what the numbers mean.
System and network tests
Processor, graphics, memory, frame rate, WebGL, ping, jitter and speed tests help you understand how your computer and connection perform right now.
How we measure
Every result on RigLab comes from real input events, real frame timings, real worker threads or real data transfers. If a browser cannot measure something reliably, we say so on the page instead of showing a number that only looks precise. Browser tests have limits, and each tool page explains them in plain language.
Our principles
- Private by default. Your inputs stay on your device.
- Honest numbers. We explain uncertainty rather than hide it.
- Fast pages. Each tool loads only what it needs.
- Useful guidance. Every result comes with practical next steps.
Frequently asked questions
Who is RigLab for?
Gamers, PC builders, people checking a new device, support teams and anyone who wants a quick, trustworthy hardware check without installing software.
How does RigLab make money?
The tools are free to use. The site may show limited, clearly marked advertising or partner links, but results are never influenced by them.
Do you store my results?
Personal bests and settings are saved in your own browser storage. We do not keep your test results on our servers.
How accurate are browser-based tests?
Very accurate for many things, such as input events and frame timing, and approximate for others, such as device memory. Each tool explains its own limits.
Can I suggest a new tool?
Yes. Send your idea through the contact page. Requests from users have shaped many of the current tools.
Do the tools work offline?
Most tools need the page to load first, after which they run on your device. Network tests need a connection by definition.
Is RigLab affiliated with hardware brands?
No. The tools work with any brand of mouse, keyboard, controller, monitor or computer.
Can I link to a tool from my site or forum?
Of course. Every tool has its own page and address, so you can link directly to the one you need.
